Job description

  • Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers young preschool classroom in Clarkston has an immediate opening for an Assistant Teacher. The successful candidate should be creative, able to engage children with fun, hands-on activities that foster both their cognitive and social-emotional growth. Strong communication skills are essential, and a passion for continuous learning and growth in the field of early childhood education is key. In collaboration with the Lead Teacher, the Assistant Teacher in the young preschool classroom has responsibility for the care, supervision, and management of a classroom in accordance with set goals and curriculum plans. Position Detail: Status: Full-time Schedule: Monday
  • Friday 8am-5pm Pay range: $14.50-$20.50/hour, (based on certification or degree plus years of experience in Early Childhood Education) Please note: This position does not qualify for US Visa sponsorship or relocation · Must have full time availability. · Have a CDA or working towards a degree in Early Childhood/ related field (preferred) · CPR Certification (can be completed after hire) · Minimum of 18 years or older · Reliable transportation required · Prior experience in early childhood education (preferred) · Ability to pass a Background Check (fingerprinting) Paid professional development Childcare discount (TriShare) Medical, dental, vision insurance (choice of plans) Aflac Supplemental Insurance Free Telehealth and EAP Paid time off 401K with company match Paid Planning Time Referral bonuses Annual performance reviews and increases Free breakfast, lunch, and snacks Birthday benefits Working at Heartfelt Impressions you will be seen, heard, and valued as the educator you are.
