JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Penn State Harrisburg invites applications for Adjunct Lecturer in American Studies to begin August 2026. This is a part-time, adjunct appointment. Job Duties Teach 1-3 courses (3 credits each; with maximum of 9 credits) each semester in American Studies, or other classes depending on expertise. Teaching assignments may require teaching day or evening classes, as needed. Requirements and Qualifications Master’s degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must have completed MA in a related field required and experience teaching at the post-secondary level is preferred. Commitment to high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment is desired. Enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary environment is important.
