Job Description
Texas A&M University-San Antonio seeks part-time faculty for the Fall 2026 semester. The Department of Language, Literature, and Arts Successful candidates will teach undergraduate courses in English Composition, Technical Writing, and/or Integrated Reading and Writing based on academic qualifications. The number of available courses and positions will depend on departmental need.
Compensation
$3,000 per 3-credit course

Education and
Experience: Master’s Degree in English, or a related field, from a regionally accredited institution. A minimum of 18 graduate hours in English or related field.

Experience: A minimum of one year college or university teaching experience. Experience teaching composition, technical writing, and/or integrated reading and writing. Experience teaching non-traditional, first-generation students. Experience with contemporary instructional technologies such as e-portfolios. Ph.D. in English or related field preferred.
