Requires a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, NATABOC certification, and Pennsylvania state licensure. A minimum of one year of experience is required, with a Master's degree and Division I experience preferred.

The Assistant Athletic Trainer, under the direction of the Assistant Athletic Director of Sports Medicine, is responsible for the daily athletic training needs of assigned intercollegiate athletic teams as well as overall care and maintenance of the athletic training facilities. This person must provide exceptional personal care for the student-athletes and sport programs, as assigned to them, with regards to injury prevention, rehabilitation, healthy eating and living and health insurance matters. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field/concentration. A minimum of one (1) year of directly related experience as a certified athletic trainer. Possess state athletic training licensure, in good standing, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or eligible to pursue upon being hired; Certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification (NATABOC). Demonstrated experience working with spreadsheets and relevant databases. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
