  • We partner with schools to provide Speech Language Pathology (SLP) services to PreK–12 students nationwide.
  • As a team of special education providers, we understand the education process, IDEA requirements, and the importance of collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Our mission is to deliver high-quality Speech Language Pathology (SLP) services while making meaningful connections in a collaborative learning environment.
  • TheraPeds Partners is seeking a temporary Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services in Elberton, Georgia.
  • This part-time substitute assignment runs from July through October 2026 and is ideal for an SLP looking for a short-term opportunity in a collaborative educational setting.
  • Details Temporary substitute position Part-time schedule (20+ hours per week) July 2026 through October 2026 On-site, in-person services Supporting students in Kindergarten through 8th grade Guaranteed paid hours, including time for documentation, planning, and administrative responsibilities In This Role, You Will Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with communication needs.
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and help determine appropriate services.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals while maintaining compliance with district requirements.
  • Manage an assigned caseload, including progress monitoring and required documentation.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication across educational settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective, student-centered intervention plans.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program State License as Speech-Language Pathologist Department of Education Licensure as a SLP National License: ASHA Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred CF-SLP placement may be available Experience working with children Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required Organizational and time management skills Proficient in use of technology Fingerprint background clearance Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications Physical Requirements Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
