The West Suburban YMCA is hiring part-time sports instructors at both locations for a variety of sports including pickleball lessons and basketball instruction for children and adults. Typical hours would be dependent on the times of the programs, but anticipating weekday and weekend mornings and afternoons. Up to 12 hours a week. $15-$20 an hour, depending on experience and certifications.
Provides direct leadership, instruction and motivation for students in sports classes as an instructor for classes within the sports department.
8. Organizes and puts away needed class equipment. Reports damaged equipment. 9. Trains and supervises class aides as assigned. 10. Willingness to accept responsibilities and duties other than those assigned.

1. Sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions and to supervise program activities in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor locations. 2. Climbing, crouching, standing, sitting on floor, kneeling, swimming, carrying (50 lbs), pushing, lifting (50 lbs) and walking.
