About the role

The Lead Preschool Teacher is responsible for engaging children in age-appropriate activities to stimulate growth and ensuring their overall safety and well-being. They must maintain open communication with parents and implement structured daily routines.

Duties

  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities to stimulate their physical, emotional, and intellectual growth
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
  • Create a positive and supportive environment for children to thrive
  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
  • Implement daily routines and schedules to promote consistency and structure
  • Monitor and address any behavioral issues using effective behavior management techniques

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in childcare, daycare, babysitting, or related field
  • Knowledge of infant care, toddler care, preschool curriculum, and caregiving practices
  • Strong classroom management skills to create a structured learning environment
  • Ability to adapt to different age groups and individual needs of children
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with parents and colleagues

Requirements
