What You’ll Do Provide Meaningful Clinical Support Deliver individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches Conduct crisis assessments and interventions to support student safety and well-being Build strong therapeutic relationships that foster resilience, self-awareness, and growth Be a Critical Voice in Student Success Help shape Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with a strong focus on social-emotional goals Advocate for student needs and ensure appropriate supports are in place Track progress and adjust treatment strategies to drive measurable outcomes Collaborate & Lead Within a Multidisciplinary Team Partner closely with teachers, administrators, and clinicians to address behavioral and academic challenges Serve as a trusted consultant to staff on student behavior, mental health, and classroom strategies Help create a positive, supportive learning environment for all students Coordinate Care Beyond the Classroom Provide case management and care coordination, connecting families with community resources Conduct intake assessments and contribute to treatment and discharge planning Address attendance challenges by partnering with families and support systems Ensure Quality & Compliance Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical and legal standards Adhere to all mandated reporting laws and ethical guidelines QualificationsWhat You Bring Required Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) Active Maryland LGSW license (LCSW-C preferred) At least 1 year of experience working with children, adolescents, and families Highly Valued Experience in a therapeutic school or special education setting Strong knowledge of IEPs and special education processes Background in trauma-informed care, behavioral interventions, and crisis response Confidence working with complex and high-need student populations What Sets You Apart You connect with students who need it most—and don’t give up on them You balance clinical expertise with compassion and creativity You thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment You communicate clearly, act decisively, and always put students first Why Join Us Mission‑driven work that makes an impact every day Strong interdisciplinary team support Ongoing professional development and growth opportunities A school culture rooted in respect, structure, and progress

Requirements
