As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Temecula, CA! Details: In-Person Tutoring in Temecula, CA! Schedule: 25 hours per month; 2 sessions a week for 1.25 hours Rate is between $25 and $35 per hour Ideal Candidate: Teaching credential highly preferred Experience working with middle school students, particularly students with Autism or IEPs Strong background in foundational and grade-level math instruction Skilled in teaching multiplication, division, place value, word problems, and mathematical problem-solving Experience supporting writing development, including sentence construction, grammar, punctuation, and paragraph organization Comfortable supporting students with handwriting and fine motor challenges Patient, structured, and able to provide repetition, guided practice, and positive reinforcement Familiar with sensory breaks and strategies that help students remain regulated and engaged Able to adapt instruction and provide accommodations based on the student's individual learning needs Strong lesson-planning and differentiation skills Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized math instruction focused on multiplication, division, place value, foundational math concepts, and word problems Reinforce mathematical fluency and problem-solving strategies through guided practice and repetition Help the student apply math concepts to real-world situations and multi-step problems Provide structured writing instruction focused on sentence construction, grammar, punctuation, and paragraph development Help the student organize thoughts and expand simple sentences into clear, detailed paragraphs and narratives Support handwriting and penmanship through appropriate strategies, accommodations, and adapted writing activities Incorporate visual supports, modeling, hands-on activities, and scaffolded instruction as needed Provide regular sensory breaks and flexible learning opportunities to support focus and regulation Reinforce skills addressed through the student's IEP and complement existing ABA support Monitor academic progress and adjust instruction based on the student's needs Maintain a patient, encouraging, and structured environment that builds confidence and academic independence Why Tutor Me Education?
