The Academic Support Specialist II provides classroom instruction for the Cardinal Academic Success Seminar and delivers academic coaching to support student persistence and retention. The role coordinates outreach and intervention efforts while connecting students to campus resources and tracking progress through university platforms.
Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, or similar programs; or at least 18 hours of graduate work. Knowledge of/experience using software used in college or high school settings. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Experience working with college students in advising, coaching, teaching, student success, retention, or related areas.
