The Learning Experience – Jenison is looking for an enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to work with our energetic 2-year-old learners.
You'll help children make the exciting transition from toddlerhood toward preschool by strengthening communication, independence, social skills, and early learning through hands-on activities and consistent classroom routines.
Responsibilities: Create engaging, developmentally appropriate classroom activities
Support early language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
Encourage independence and positive peer interactions
Guide children through meals, toileting readiness, rest time, learning activities, and transitions
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and organized classroom
Communicate regularly with families
Collaborate with your teaching team and center leadership
Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required
Previous childcare, daycare, or preschool experience preferred
Experience working with toddlers or young preschoolers is a plus
CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
Dependable, nurturing, and confident managing a classroom
