Swim Coach

The swim coach will lead swimmers through skill mastery and practices, ensuring a safe environment for learning competitive swimming and diving while encouraging participants to have an enjoyable ymca experience. Responsibilities also include evaluating swimmer skills, ensuring fair practice and swim meet supervision, and incorporating character development objectives.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school degree or equivalent and possess two years of directly related experience in developing and conducting programs. Required qualifications include knowledge of computer software for meet running and certifications such as swim lesson instructor trainer or arc lifeguard/First aid, cpr/Aed for the professional rescuer instructor certification.
