Residential Advisor

The residential advisor provides guidance to students to help them acclimate to group living, develop social skills, and adhere to behavioral standards to complete the job corps program. Essential functions include strict accountability documentation, monitoring student interactions for safety, maintaining student files, and participating in progress evaluations.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent plus one year of experience working with youth, along with high levels of conflict resolution and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in information technology, including ms office, is necessary, and a valid driver's license is usually required.
