9th/10th Grade Writing Teacher - Summer 2026

The teacher will create inclusive and culturally responsive curriculum, designing engaging lesson plans appropriate for high school students with diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities also include providing individual support and adapting teaching strategies for students needing extra instruction.

Candidates must demonstrate cultural awareness, including understanding different perspectives and interacting respectfully with diverse cultures, alongside prior experience teaching diverse middle school, high school, or college populations with an equity and inclusion mindset. A bachelor's degree is required, a master's is preferred, and candidates must pass background checks and be cpr & first aid certified by the start date.
