Core responsibilities

The teacher will be responsible for assisting in the identification and programming for students with disabilities, including preparing ieps, 504s, or ilps, and planning instruction consistent with individual needs and state standards. Duties also include utilizing evaluation data to guide instruction, completing required progress reports, maintaining tci training, and supporting positive behavior systems.

Requirements summary

Candidates need a bachelor’s degree (Or progress toward one) in a relevant subject or education, along with a special education generalist license or eligibility for a colorado teaching license/Substitute teacher’s license. A minimum of two years of related experience and previous work with ieps/504s/Ilps are preferred, and applicants must be at least 21 years old and pass background checks.
