The occupational therapist selects appropriate evaluation procedures and directs patient participation in tasks to restore or maximize independence in daily living skills, facilitating the learning of essential skills for adaptation and productivity. This role involves evaluating impairments, planning and implementing treatment plans, coordinating care through conferences, and documenting patient activities according to protocols.

Candidates must have a master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college, current illinois licensure to practice as an occupational therapist, and current cpr certification.
