Occupational Therapist- Float Position- Homewood & Burr Ridge DayRehab

The occupational therapist selects appropriate evaluation procedures and directs patient participation in tasks to restore or maximize independence in daily living skills, facilitating the learning of essential adaptation and productivity skills. Responsibilities include evaluating impairments, planning and implementing treatment plans, coordinating care, and documenting patient activities according to department protocols.

Candidates must have knowledge equivalent to a master's program in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university, along with a current illinois license to practice as an occupational therapist and current cpr certification. Required abilities include understanding patient growth and development across all ages, analytical skills for treatment problem-Solving, and interpersonal skills for effective communication and relationship building.
