Career Mentor

The career mentor supports individuals in various employment settings by collaborating with employment specialists to facilitate successful job outcomes, identify skills and goals, and provide ongoing coaching for skill development and job retention. Essential functions include fostering a respectful environment, conducting client assessments, leading career curriculum sessions, providing on-The-Job coaching, and partnering with employers to modify job tasks.

Candidates should be pursuing or possess a bachelor’s degree in social services, psychology, or a related field, or have equivalent experience, along with proficiency in microsoft office and internet use. A valid driver's license and the ability to meet specific physical demands, such as lifting over 40 pounds, are required.
