Individual Placement and Specialist

The specialist assists participants in identifying, obtaining, and maintaining employment or educational opportunities aligned with their recovery goals using the individual placement and support model. This involves coordinating with other staff, providing individualized coaching, communicating with institutions, and monitoring participant progress.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, and demonstrate knowledge of correct procedures for medicaid billing. Training in the evidence-Based individual placement and support model is required, along with strong communication and teaching skills.
