Nurse Professional Development Coordinator - Surgical Services - St. Francis Downtown

This role implements and evaluates educational plans and programs based on needs assessments, focusing on establishing collaborative relationships with operational leaders to achieve performance outcomes and support strategic plans. The coordinator supports the nursing excellence journey to achieve and maintain ancc magnet and pathways to excellence designations within assigned entities.

A bachelor's degree in nursing is required, with a master's degree preferred. Candidates need a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience plus 2 years in progressive leadership/Professional development roles for bon secours mercy health, or 5 years of clinical experience for roper st francis healthcare. Required competencies include bls, strong communication skills, and knowledge of adult learning principles.
