As part of a multi-Disciplinary team, the vocational specialist provides assessment and direct service to individuals with serious and persistent mental illness enrolled in the pact program, focusing on developing plans for employment and career services. Essential functions include participating in ongoing monitoring, developing individualized recovery plans focusing on vocational needs, providing skill teaching and supportive counseling in natural environments, and performing job development and on-Site job coaching.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a behavioral science from an accredited institution and have two years of experience in vocational assessment, job preparation, individualized job placement, or job coaching for individuals with serious and persistent mental illness. A valid driver's license is required, along with having a vehicle and no more than one moving violation in the past 12 months.
