Veterinary Technician Student Externship - Edgewater, CO

Participants will learn from experienced emergency veterinary professionals and engage in various aspects of emergency care, including triage and diagnostics. They will also practice skills required by their school's proficiency checklist with mentorship and guidance.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in an avma-Accredited veterinary technology or nursing program and able to start the program within six months of application. They should also have a current rabies vaccination and be physically capable of performing the duties required in a veterinary emergency setting.
