2026-2027 Special Education Paraprofessional

The special education paraprofessional will provide physical help and emotional support to special needs students under the direction of supervising teachers to ensure they benefit fully from their educational placement. Duties include assisting the classroom teacher with instructional programs, self-Help, behavior management, and reinforcing learning concepts as designed by the iep team.

Candidates should be detail-Oriented, hardworking, capable of operating independently in a fast-Paced environment, and possess high emotional intelligence, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills for effective communication and relationship building. Previous experience in a childhood education setting is preferred.
