The preschool assistant teacher will support children's school readiness by maintaining a safe, culturally and linguistically responsive, and developmentally appropriate head start classroom environment. This role involves following ecmhsp service plans and family engagement practices while supporting the implementation of ecmhsp program goals and objectives.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess a preschool child development associate (Cda) credential or state equivalent, or be enrolled in an associate/Bachelor's degree program or a cda program to be completed within two years of hiring. Experience working with the latino community and knowledge of the latino migrant farmworker culture/Lifestyle are required, with head start experience and bilingual skills being preferred.
