Early Pre-School Assistant Teacher

The assistant teacher is responsible for creating a positive learning atmosphere that stimulates critical thinking and assists in implementing the creative curriculum and cde standards for classrooms. Essential duties include preparing individualized lesson plans, organizing the classroom for developmental needs, providing direct care like diaper changing, and maintaining secure relationships with infants and toddlers.

Candidates must possess a minimum of 12 units in early childhood education, including an assistant teacher permit issued from cctc, along with previous experience working with early pre-School ages 2-3. Additional requirements involve completing mandated health screenings, providing proof of identity and work authorization, and obtaining a criminal record clearance.
