Preschool Teacher

The preschool teacher is responsible for creating and managing a challenging learning environment by implementing the creative curriculum and cde standards, preparing individualized daily lesson plans, and ensuring age-Appropriate activities are conducted. Essential duties also include maintaining a safe and stimulating classroom, promoting secure relationships with children, documenting progress, and engaging with families.

Minimum qualifications require an associate of arts or science degree in early childhood education or a closely related field, along with 24 ece units and a teacher permit from cctc; a ba degree is preferred. Candidates must possess a minimum of two years' experience working with preschool children (Ages 3-5) and must pass required background checks, physical exams, and immunization requirements.
