Advisor, Veterans Resource Center (VRC) and School Certifying Official (SCO) - Contractor

The advisor provides specialized advising, event planning, student engagement, and administration of va education benefits for veteran and military-Connected students, serving as the designated school certifying official (Sco). This involves accurate enrollment certification to the va while supporting student persistence, progression, and degree completion.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of prior experience as a designated school certifying official (Sco) within the last five years, along with two additional years in related higher education student services or compliance roles. Applicants must already be knowledgeable in va certification processes and must maintain current eligibility and required annual va sco training.
