Youth and Family Advocate - Safer Futures - Full-Time

The youth and family advocate provides direct services and support to children whose parents are receiving shelter and services. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, organizing support groups, and ensuring the health and safety of children in the program.

Candidates should have a strong understanding of child development and effective behavior management techniques. A degree in early childhood education, social work, counseling, or a related field is preferred, along with experience working with children and knowledge of domestic violence dynamics.
