EHS Teacher Aide

The teacher's aide supports teachers by maintaining a safe classroom environment and curriculum compliant with head start and state standards, assisting with lesson plans, health checks, and daily documentation. Responsibilities also include ensuring hygiene routines, supervising children, assisting with meals, tracking attendance, and supporting program operations during extended hours.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate’s degree in early childhood education preferred, alongside one year of experience working with children, preferably infants/Toddlers. Candidates must obtain several specific certifications within 6 months of hire, including infant and toddler and child care certificates, and cpr/First aid within 90 days.
