OrthoIndy Foundation YMCA - Aquatics - Swim Instructor

The swim instructor will provide safe and challenging classes according to ymca and safety guidelines, operating under the direction of the program coordinator and/Or aquatics director. This role requires adherence to established safety protocols while delivering instruction.

Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years old and demonstrate emotional maturity and judgment, along with the ability to pass a swim test including required strokes and treading water for two minutes. Required certifications include hcp, first aid, lifeguard or aquatic safety assistant within 90 days, and current swim lesson or water exercise certification.
