Program Aide (4583)

The program aide provides quality, loving, and safe care for elderly participants, assisting with movement, activities, personal care, and monitoring health under the direction of licensed staff. Key duties also involve preparing and serving meals to children, maintaining a positive atmosphere, and developing age-Group specific lesson plans and activities.

Candidates need a high school diploma or ged, along with one to two years of experience caring for the elderly or people with disabilities in a human services or medically-Related program. Required certifications include food handler’s and cpr & first aid, or the ability to obtain them within the established timeframe.
