The instructor will deliver in-classroom training covering the role and responsibilities of an EKG Technician, including patient care, safety, and legal aspects. Key duties involve demonstrating proficiency in preparing patients, setting up EKG equipment, recording wave patterns, calculating heart rates, interpreting rhythms, and applying Holter monitors.
Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of experience as an EKG Technician and between three to five years of teaching experience, preferably in a classroom or synchronous setting. A teaching certification is preferred, and all instructors must adhere to the weekly class schedule.
ProTrain is currently recruiting for an experienced in-classroom instructor with experience teaching an EKG Technician course.
Candidates must have experience teaching in a classroom or/and in a synchronous environment, as well as have a minimum of 3 years as an EKG Technician.
This is a part time; contracted teaching position to begin immediately. Future classes will be available to the right candidate.
