Child Development Trainee

Trainees will assist teachers with planning and implementing curriculum, focusing on child-Directed learning and play-Based practice within a classroom environment reflecting a reggio emilia approach. Responsibilities also include maintaining classroom upkeep, adhering to state of alaska licensing standards, and promoting teamwork and communication with families.

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or ged and be at least 18 years old, with effective oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. A mandatory 1-Year commitment is required, including earning the child development associate credential within the first six months.
