Core responsibilities
The clinical educator facilitates lifelong learning and professional development for clinical staff using adult learning theory and instructional design, resulting in measurable outcomes across orientation, competency, and continuing education. Key duties include developing and evaluating onboarding/Orientation programs, managing initial and ongoing competency assessments, and designing educational activities based on practice gaps.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess at least three years of related clinical and/Or nursing experience along with a four-Year bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Required licensure includes state/National certification for clinical practice, basic life support, and specialty-Specific certifications like pals, pears/Paces, or nrp.
