Swim Instructor

The swim instructor is responsible for maintaining a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment for members, promoting wellness and engagement according to ymca policies. This includes performing all required certification skills, communicating effectively with the public and staff, finding substitutes when needed, building member relations, and maintaining equipment and cleanliness.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old, possess or be able to obtain cpr/Aed, first aid, and oxygen certifications, and demonstrate swimming ability. Successful candidates will also be required to pass reference checks, a criminal history background check, a sex offender check, and a pre-Employment drug screen.
