Swim Instructor

The swim instructor is responsible for maintaining a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment while promoting member wellness and engagement according to ymca policies. This includes finding substitutes when needed, reporting substitutions to the aquatics director, building member relations, and maintaining equipment cleanliness.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and possess or be able to obtain cpr/Aed, first aid, and oxygen certifications, demonstrating required swimming ability. Successful candidates must also pass reference checks, criminal history background checks, sex offender checks, and a pre-Employment drug screen.
