School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

The speech-Language pathologist is responsible for evaluating, treating, and supporting students with speech, language, communication, and feeding needs through direct therapy and integration into the educational model. Key duties include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, delivering evidence-Based intervention, and ensuring communication supports are embedded across all school environments.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in speech-Language pathology and hold active or eligible virginia licensure as an slp, with the asha certificate of clinical competence (Ccc-Slp) being preferred. Required qualifications also include demonstrated ability to support diverse communication needs and strong skills in team collaboration and professionalism.
