Lifeguard Morning/Afternoons (Oshkosh Downtown YMCA)

Lifeguards are responsible for keeping patrons safe by actively preventing and responding to any aquatic emergencies that may occur. They also interact with patrons of all ages regarding aquatic safety and educational matters.

Certification is required to work as a lifeguard, although free training is offered if the applicant does not currently hold one. Applicants must possess a strong swimming ability, a desire to work with people of all ages, and good customer service skills.
