  • Type: Full TimeThe Aquatics Specialist is a full-time position responsible for providing direct service support within the Aquatics Department through lifeguarding and swim instruction. This role helps ensure a safe, welcoming, and high-quality aquatic environment for all participants and members. In addition to direct service responsibilities, the Aquatics Specialist assists with administrative and office duties as assigned by the Aquatics Coordinator or Aquatics Director.

  • Functions: Full time Position mainly focused on direct service hours (35+ hours per week) Some office hours per week helping the Aquatics Director and Coordinator complete administrative tasks Safety/supply checks of all first aid kits in the building biweekly Qualifications Currently certified in Lifeguarding (Including Deep Water) with CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuers and First Aid Lifeguard Instructor r.24 preferred but not required Certified as a YMCA Swim Instructor, and/or WSI preferred, but not required. Minimum experience of 2-years teaching aquatic programs for all ages and levels or lifeguarding.
