Core responsibilities
The nurse practitioner will provide psychopharmacological assessments and ongoing management for a caseload of child and adolescent psychiatric outpatients referred by clinicians and community providers. Additionally, the np will participate in educating learners through clinical experiences, knowledge sharing, and skill training.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master's degree as a nurse practitioner, an active new york state registered nurse license, and an active new york state nurse practitioner licensure, along with current national certification as an np. A minimum of two years of psychiatric nursing experience is required, along with demonstrated clinical competence and strong communication skills.
