Occupational Therapist (53020)

The occupational therapist observes, analyzes, and assesses motor dysfunction in children, making recommendations for educational plans based on evaluations and interdisciplinary team input. Responsibilities include providing individual and group treatment, developing goals for ieps, and coordinating programming with various stakeholders.

Candidates must possess a master's degree and a valid pennsylvania occupational therapy license to perform evaluations, provide direct treatment, and adhere to professional standards and regulations. Knowledge of special education practices and certification in a restraint management system are also required.
