Early Head Start/Head Start Family Advocat (Santa Clara)

The family advocate supports head start compliance by managing participant files, performing data entry in childplus software across all content areas, and creating mandate calendars for teachers. This role also involves empowering parents through curriculum delivery, coordinating parent meetings, and providing families with essential resources and referrals for emergency assistance.

Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in google suites and microsoft suites, with bilingual english/Spanish skills being required. A minimum of an associate's degree is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred, and the role necessitates driving approximately 80% of the time, including availability for evening meetings and events outside standard hours.
