Lead Teacher - Early Head Start (CCELC)

The lead teacher develops, implements, and articulates lesson plans using the creative curriculum to meet program goals, ensuring a safe and nurturing classroom environment compliant with head start, title 5, and title 22 regulations. This role also involves fostering parent partnerships, conducting required assessments like asq/Asq-Se, and managing the individualized education plan process for assigned children.

A minimum of an associate teacher permit or higher is required, preferably with an aa/Ba degree in child development, early childhood education, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of direct classroom experience. Candidates must possess 3 ece units in infant toddler development and must pass a health screening, tb test, and background fingerprint clearance.
