Core responsibilities
The assistant teacher supports the lead teacher in implementing play-Based, age-Appropriate lesson plans to foster children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development within a positive classroom culture. Responsibilities also include supervising and engaging with children, maintaining a safe classroom, and communicating professionally with families regarding daily progress.
Requirements summary
Candidates should preferably have previous experience working with young children and possess knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices. Essential requirements include strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to meet physical demands like lifting up to 65lbs, and obtaining cpr/First aid certification.
