Core responsibilities

This role is responsible for developing and implementing unit-Based orientation and competency programs for all levels of nursing staff, including new nurse residency and experienced staff onboarding. The professional development nurse also evaluates program outcomes, updates curriculum based on quality metrics, and supports role development and succession planning.

Requirements summary

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active rn license eligible for new hampshire. A bachelor’s degree in nursing is required, or a non-Nursing bachelor's with an associate's in nursing and enrollment in an msn program. A minimum of three years of clinical experience in the identified specialty is mandatory.
