Day Care Specialist - Marillac

This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, healthy, and positive environment for infants and pre-School aged children (Ages 0-5) residing at the marillac family homeless shelter. Key duties include facilitating age-Appropriate developmental and recreational activities, providing direct care, and documenting interactions with families.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged equivalent (College preferred) and maintain a clean, valid new york state driver’s license, meeting minimum age requirements for authorized driving. Proficiency in microsoft office and google workspace, along with the capacity for ethical judgment and working with diverse, disadvantaged populations, is essential.
