Assistant Teacher

The assistant teacher is primarily responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children while assisting the lead teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with the program's philosophy. Key duties include supervising children, planning activities, managing behavior positively, monitoring development, and maintaining professional relationships with families and staff.

A high school diploma and being at least 18 years of age are required qualifications for this position. Relevant work experience or an associate’s degree in early childhood education is preferred, and employment is contingent upon passing all dss-Required background screenings.
