Core responsibilities

The instructional aide will support students with disabilities (Iep students) in the school environment, assisting special education teachers, general education teachers, and/Or speech & language pathologists while upholding school values. Essential functions include implementing ieps, providing direct student support, assisting with physical and health-Related needs, and creating modified instructional materials.

Requirements summary

Candidates must have an associate’s degree or 48 college units or pass the paraprofessional test, with a bachelor's degree preferred, and at least one year of experience working with students with moderate/Severe needs in an educational setting. Applicants must also pass a department of justice background screening and provide health clearance.
