The specialist assists in coordinating and implementing evidence-Informed programming focused on student wellness, mental health intervention, persistence, and retention. Duties also include conducting comprehensive intake appointments for students with disabilities to assess needs, arrange accommodations, and connect them with necessary campus and community resources.

A master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field with counseling coursework is the minimum educational requirement. Preferred experience includes at least one year working in education, student development, counseling, or outreach services with diverse post-Secondary populations.
