The professional mentor will develop and sustain long-Term, loving relationships with eight elementary school children, acting as a positive role model by setting expectations, nurturing strengths, teaching life and academic skills, and ensuring emotional well-Being. Responsibilities also include partnering with parents/Caregivers, documenting activities accurately, and maintaining a required work schedule including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements summary

Candidates must be willing to commit for a minimum of three years and possess either a 2 or 4-Year degree, or at least seven years of progressive experience working with children and families in lieu of a degree. Essential abilities include strong interpersonal skills, the capacity to develop trusting relationships with children and families, independent work capability, and strong organizational and communication skills.
